Xi is one of the most famous beaches in Kefalonia. With its long stretch of red sand sheltered by white clay cliffs, and gentle, calm swimming, it’s a popular spot and perfect for families! You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas all along the beach, where you’ll also find plenty of places to eat, drink and relax with some good tunes. Xi is also well-known for the watersports on offer - rent jet skis, SUPs or kayaks and make the most of the safe shallow water. You can walk from Xi to the quieter beach of Megas Lakos where you’ll find a few further places for refreshment. There are plenty of delicious places to have an evening meal in Xi, from smaller beach bars and tavernas to 5 star hotels. Or you can visit Lixouri, which is only 5km away.
