About the accommodation This is a unique clifftop property, with two independent double-storey units, that can be taken individually (‘Sapphire’ the smaller, and ‘Aquamarine’ the larger), or all together as ‘Eternity’. Sapphire is the upper-floor house. A wrap-around terrace encircles this outstanding villa situated on a prominent headland at the south of the peninsula. The terraces incorporate trees for natural shade, comfortably-furnished seating areas and vast sun-traps for tranquil tanning. A BBQ and outside seating area takes full advantage of this glorious situation. There are stunning panoramic views in all directions, over the valley below, across the sea to Vardiani island, and to Zakynthos beyond. A secluded sandy beach can be reached by a short stroll meandering through a gentle cliffside path. Inside the villa itself, you’ll find a comfortable living space, flooded with natural light, with simple, elegant furnishings. To the side of the living area is a well-equipped modern kitchen, also with views towards the sea. The living space has direct access to the generous terraces and the views beyond. There is a WC situated just off the living space, with the master bedroom and family shower room to the side of the property, with views towards the countryside. A laundry room, shared with the downstairs apartment, can be accessed by a secure internal staircase. Sapphire is at the easterly end of Megas Lakos beach, walking distance along the shore to the excellent ‘Fishbones’, where you can enjoy delicious, freshly-caught fish, tasty pasta dishes and the perfect sundowner at the end of the day with Marios and his friendly team. Or walk a little further to Xi beach where you will find more restaurants, well-run watersports facilities and mini-markets. |
